The 8-inch Remo Emperor Black Suede Drumhead uses one 7.5mil treated Ebony ply and one 7mil clear ply for a warm response with focused tone and a soft playing feel.
Remo’s texturing process creates a lightly textured, non-reflective black surface. The construction suits tom and snare applications, with controlled sustain and added two-ply durability for pop, R&B and rock. The series is available in 8- to 18-inch sizes.
